The local businesses are pretty normal. Grocery stores, health club fitness places, plenty of restaurants whether it be sit down or fast food. The mom-and-pop stores have actually improved. A lot of them have started to open small delis & sell hot & cold food. The community is definitely expanding. A lot of road construction has been done due to the traffic. Most shopping centers have all the stores you need so you don't have to go place to place. Grocery stores, retail stores, restaurants all in the same shopping center. So, yes I do think you can get everything you need out here.
It's obviously not the best place in the world, with all the issues we have, but it's like every other place you would go. There will always be a negative perspective in life. Over all I would choose to live here again if it was a major decision. The other reasons would be because I have family here and it would be the same knowing that I'm leaving my family behind.
It's not all that well. A lot of jobs say entry-level, but yet you need 2 years experience. It's hard here. If you don't have experience in whatever you are looking for don't waste your time. If looking for employment go for what you know. There are a handful of jobs that have on the job training but most of those may be commission only. There are quite a few management positions available, but of course, you need experience.
