Rockland is a nice, mostly quiet town. I enjoy that aspect of it very much. It has many convenience stores, department stores, and restaurants! People here are very friendly and welcoming. I'd love to see more diversity in stores around the area. I feel we have too many pizza joints and we could incorporate a bakery or maybe a vegan/vegetarian restaurant.

I have a family member that lives in Rockland. From what I've seen is it's a very tight knit place. I liken it to So Boston as if you've been living there a long time, you're welcome. If not you're looked at sideways. Be careful driving in the Center, drive very slowly, many pedestrians that just walk across the street in the crosswalks without looking. There are many nice old homes in Rockland BUT! There are a lot of drugs in town as well! Lots of people have to go to the Food Pantry, so it looks like there are many that need assistance to survive.
Dockland is very friendly, kind, supportive town. The schools are wonderful, teachers very caring. True community spirit! We are a small town with a big heart and true strength.
