Its a really nice area, possible a little too nice for some, as people can be overly rich and snooty. Besides that, its an extremely safe area with many public schools in the area. The restaurant and bar scene is additionally very nice, as they have a wide variety of options. It can be a little expensive and traffic can be pretty congested at times. Other than those negative points, Rochester Hills is a wonderful place to live.
Rochester is a great place to live. It is full of things to do. The night life is great with many restaurants and bars in the downtown strip full of great food and drinks. The parks and trails are amazing for outdoor activities such as running, biking, swimming and working out. It has great neighborhoods full of friendly people and a school system that is routinely regarded as one of the best in the state. Overall, I believe it is the nicest suburb of Detroit that there is.
