Robstown is a very small community. Surrounding areas don't have much to say about it and if they do, it isn't kind, but I'm very proud of where I'm from. The negative things people think about my town isn't just what goes on here but it happens everywhere. Since it is small, when something happens the community comes together! I grew up here and most of my family lives in Robstown as well. It may sound cliche but my favorite thing about this town is definitely the food! We have a few places here that you won't find anywhere else. My overall experience with Robstown is a positive one and I'm happy to call myself "A Cotton Picker!"

Although Robstown is a small community, they are steadily doing their best to grow. They are trying to put themselves on the map. They have many family-owned businesses like restaurants, salons and convenience stores. They recently opened an outlet mall, which isn't doing well. I'd like to see the community and surrounding towns to come together and help each other achieve their goals.
This is my hometown, and it could be great, but it is known to many as Heroin Capital. Our biggest issue is the high level of drug trafficking as wrong as the drug addiction. Plus it doesn’t help when most of all the corruption comes from the ones who are supposedly supposed to protect and serve. There is ao much corruption and extortion infiltrating among the political parties and city officials. This community could be great but it needs a lot of change starting from within.
