I went to school and graduated from Robinson ISD then moved to other suburbs of Waco throughout my early adulthood. I returned to Robinson 5 years ago and am so glad I did! Our town has a rural feel. We have a nice grocery store, a park with walking trail, multiple ball fields, six public schools, a public swimming pool and several fast food restaurants and retail shops. It’s a 5-10 minute drive to Waco for everything else you need. Robinson is situated just off Interstate 35 and Hwy 6. Hwy 77 runs through town. We have excellent police and fire departments and very low crime! Our schools are big enough to offer the extra curricular activities students want without the pitfalls of living in a larger district. Homes are available for a wide variety of income brackets. Our population is mostly Caucasian but we do have fair representation of many ethnic groups. The area is primarily home to families with school aged children. Singles tend to live in Waco.
I have lived in Robinson most of my life and through attending the schools I would say that the education is pretty good. I have received a well rounded education from this small town atmosphere. Also from this small town atmosphere you can see a tight net community.
I go to school here at University High School and we are very competive when its come to other high schools. its a good place many of our class mates live in robinson.a
Robinson is a very small, very rural town. We have our own independent school district, park and grocery store. It's pretty quiet and quaint with very low crime rates. There's not a lot to do here, but we're connected to Waco so it isn't to insufferable.
This only being my second year living in Robinson, I really do love it. The people here are very welcoming and friendly! I feel very safe here knowing that there is never really any crime going on. Also, with this being such a small town, everybody knows everybody which makes it very easy to meet new people.
I moved to the Robinson area about 3 years ago and I have loved it. I met new friends and enrolled in Robinson High School. I love the proximity to Baylor and the Magnolia store. There are lots of cute little shops nearby and everything is less than 20 minutes away. I'm beginning to get involved in the community as well and maybe start volunteering. I have already found places to volunteer. I love living in Robinson.
Awesome school district with many alumni. This is a very safe place to live with very friendly people. The town is growing and is really starting to have a lot of businesses opening. The local grocery store is awesome also; just love Robinson. It really is the best place to live and grow your family.
Robinson is a great community with an excellent school, a small town but close to the amenities of a larger city.
Robinson is a quiet little town where you won't find a lot happening. But what you do find is friendly people who will stop their cars to say hello and a rich community that has had roots here for ages. Even though I'm a Texas transplant, these people have welcomed me with open arms.
The small town i live in is great. the crime rate is low, we are 10 minutes from a large city for shopping and work.
So far, since I have lived here I have not seen or heard of any crimes. Police are usually visible, and there are many security cameras at local businesses.
The experience I have had in this area is wonderful. There are great people that live around me, and they are welcoming.
My overall experience in the Robinson area is quite positive. The streets are quiet at night, beside dogs barking ever now and then. The people are caring and respect to one another. Robinson also has excellent law-enforcers, that watch over us. However, this town really comes alive, when it hold sports entertainment. Sports entertainment, such as, Football, basketball, soccer, softball, baseball, and volleyball home games. Robinson is a very spirited town. I'm currently nineteen; soon to leave Robinson. Would I ever love to return? I would, absolutely.
The area I current reside in is very peaceful, not many people lie out here. It is more in the country surrounded by trees and animals, not much noise but the environment.
nature is all around here. you dont have to drive very far to be emearsed in nature.
the police do the best they can to take care of all the crime. there isnt much though.
everyone does there job to the best of their ability.
