Working in Robbinsdale
A very quaint suburb with just the perfect distance from the more claustrophobic areas near downtown and the open spaces of not-too-distant farmland. There's a very nice min-downtown area with basic shops, gyms, and a few high-profile restaurants (Pig Ate My Pizza being a hot ticket) and very nice locally-owned businesses (I really enjoy going to Video Universe for their selection and staff). There's decent-sized houses and friendly neighbors all around, and many close parks, such as Sanborn (and two others within walking distance of my house). A very nice neighborhood.
Cute up and coming suburb right outside of Minneapolis. Great central location from the cities. Known as Bird Town, "Downtown Robbinsdale" has the trendiest restaurants, and a new brewery! Woullet's Bakery is the perfect place to get a pastry and latte to go! Or stop into Nona Rossa's for an authentic Italian meal. The school district of 281 houses Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion schools, where all classes are taught in Spanish (except English of course). Everyone is your friend in Robbinsdale!
Robbinsdale is a charming, small suburb of Minneapolis that is home to several artisanal restaurants and coffee shops. Residents know local business owners by name and the schools are familiar and homey. Robbinsdale is affectionately referred to as "Birdtown" by locals and less affectionately called "Robbersdale" due to a string of recent home robberies. But other than that issue, Robbinsdale is safe and a lovely place to live and visit.
