Rives Township Reviews
Rating 2.78 out of 5 18 reviews
There is a lot of wide open spaces. It is great if you have multiple pets, like dogs or chickens, or if you like to garden or farm. It is also nice if you like privacy.
I can't say it's great because after all, I do live in Michigan! one day it could hot, the next it could be snowing. But we don't have any concerns with the weather. In the spring, have thunderstorms that can get a little rough, tree branches everywhere, a down power line maybe, or maybe a tree that has fallen. Nothing too serious.
Rives Junction is a very small town. There are no grocery stores, shopping stores, ect. But we do have one gas station, a little family-owned meat market, a small drive through bank, and a family owned tire/car shop. Although we have nothing good in this small country town, we do have a bigger city 15 minutes out called Jackson. Jackson is were we go to get all of our needs. Food, tools, housing supplies, repair parts, ect. Although there is nothing is Rives Junction or job opportunities, I do enjoy being away from the big city. There re perks and negatives about living in Rives Junction.
