The health and fitness in this area are okay. There are plenty of places that people can go to exercise, it is just that many people choose not to. The hospital facilities are very bad. I have a lot of personal experience with the hospitals here, and they are not helpful. They will leave you sitting in the emergency room for 13 hours, and then they will misdiagnose you. If an ambulance comes to your house for a burn, and their burn kit isn't complete, they work with YOUR neosporin.

The business in this area is bad. Frederica is a very small town. There are two stores here - a little deli, and a dollar store. You cannot walk to either of them unless you live "in town", which I do not. If you want to drive 15-30 minutes, you can get to the mall and some restaurants, but even the variety amongst those is not very big.
The town of Frederica has one police officer. There are "state troopers" who are really rude to everyone they encounter. There is a lot of drug activity in the actual town of Frederica, and it is rarely stopped.
