I love the neighborhoods because everyone knows everyone and we are all friends! Similar to the schools, all the students might live close by, without knowing, and can easily hang out. There are different areas for friends to hang out, like the movies and there are many food places nearby! The traffic may be a lot sometimes due to the different times, for example, during the afternoon. Mid day is by far the worst time to be out because of everyone trying to leave work or pick up their kids, but traffic is terrible and can take up to 2 hours. Night life is amazing because of the beautiful lights and the freedom of going out with friends or family. I have personally loved going out with friends around 8 or 9 because of the weather, as well. The wind is a cool breeze and feeling the wind after watching a great movie is by far my favorite feeling!

I have lived in Riverside for over 7 years and have loved it thus far. There are many things to do in Riverside all within a short distance. We have Mt. Rubidoux, Fairmount Park, the Santa Ana bike trail and many other outdoor things. There are areas that aren't as well lit as others, therefore I would consider those areas less safe, but over all this city has a lot to offer. The diversity in people is great. You can reach the beaches, mountains, deserts all within an hour! The weather is quite hot during the summer, but spring, fall and winter have wonderful climate.
Riverside has it all. They have an active nightlife for those who like to go out and have fun with friends, or to meet new people. They also have great outdoor activities. Rubidoux mountain is a popular location for beginner hikers or experienced athletes looking for a nice day outside. The weather is always nice for a relaxing bike ride on the extensive bike trail, too. There are parks to have parties, picnics, or to play all day. Riverside is close to all the stores you need, and if you're looking to go on a shopping spree, the Tyler mall has got it all!
