I love the neighborhoods because everyone knows everyone and we are all friends! Similar to the schools, all the students might live close by, without knowing, and can easily hang out. There are different areas for friends to hang out, like the movies and there are many food places nearby! The traffic may be a lot sometimes due to the different times, for example, during the afternoon. Mid day is by far the worst time to be out because of everyone trying to leave work or pick up their kids, but traffic is terrible and can take up to 2 hours. Night life is amazing because of the beautiful lights and the freedom of going out with friends or family. I have personally loved going out with friends around 8 or 9 because of the weather, as well. The wind is a cool breeze and feeling the wind after watching a great movie is by far my favorite feeling!

Riverside is a family-friendly place to raise a family. 16-22-Year-olds might find it not so fun. Lots of restaurants around except goo Chinese food. We have 4 on campus colleges including UCR, La Sierra, Cal Baptist University, and RCC. Our downtown is revamped to accommodate business and safe for children to go to school. We have the Mission Inn for visitors and a wonderful Christmas light show which they are now known for. Riverside is an hour away from the mountains, Palm Springs, Los Angelos, and the beaches, how cool is that! In one day you can go to the beach and up to the mountains and sleep in your own bed!
Riverside is a great area because of how conveniently localized it is between big cities like San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. We are an hour away from the mountains for camping, the lake, beach, big city life or fun amusement parks. From moving here from the south, the weather in Riverside is unbeatable! Blue skies and comfortable warm weather to keep you playing outside.
