Very safe area to live and raise a family. However, New Port Richey in general is a small area with lack of activities. In order to have a fun filled weekend one would need to drive at least thirty minutes away.

The are of New Port Richey Florida is a very boring place to live. It is not a family oriented area for young children. The Parks are small and not great looking. You have to travel at least 45 minutes or further to have any real fun. The heat is so overwhelming as well.
