Not too much to do in this town, but neighbors are very friendly and nice. Lived there all my life and I've never felt unsafe. There are playgrounds around the town that are always filled with kids and a summer camp is also at the "main park", Trumbull Park, over the summer every year. The town is small but great for raising your kids.

River Grove is a warm, welcoming place with many activities and a wealth of opportunities to have fun and thrive in the community.
I live near a couple people who are in high school and tend to cause trouble, but other than that it's a fairly safe area. The teenagers coming from the high school next to me tend to drive pretty recklessly so that is a concern. Also, the police don't seem to care that much. I've seen numerous police cars blowing stop signs and using their sirens just to get through a red light and then shutting their sirens off when they got past.
