I have lived in Ripley since I was born; I would say there is nowhere else I would rather live. With a loving community, my time here has taught me how to be a better human, teaching me life lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I am headed to college soon so Ripley will forever be my home. To say Ripley is the perfect place to live is a stretch, but I can’t say there is any better place. Whether you live in the middle of the woods or in a metropolis, home is where your heart is. Ripley is inviting to whoever comes. Through the many activities the city provides for its people, the mayor makes sure that everyone is involved. Whether it is the 4th of July parade or a rally at the courthouse, our mayor captures everyone's attention with her positive attitude and high-energy. Recently, she has been making changes throughout the town; I believe these improvements will help our city grow and succeed with our increasing population. There is no place I'd rather live.

The community in Ripley has to be one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, everyone is so invested in the day to day of the town and kind to one another, and supportive too, small businesses and restaurants are always met with a booming first few days and usually pretty good business for years on end. Overall it's a delightful little slice of heaven once you get into it.
It is a small town with very nice people and plenty to do. You can get with a group of friends and drive around and hangout at places or just walk around and take in the atmosphere. You'll always be doing something here. Almost every time you go out you will see someone you recognize or always see. Everybody knows one another and you rarely ever find a mean person here. It is basically like every other small town in the United States, but it feels more like home here.
