Ridgeland is an amazing growing town that has transformed over the last 15 years. It offers a variety of tasty restaurants, tons of housing options for any price range, and a community that genuinely cares about each other. Ridgeland is chock full of small businesses and supports local entertainment. It is close to the reservoir and is a short drive away from the capital city, Jackson. I grew up in Ridgeland and have watched I grow and transform into the city it is today. Overall, it is a wonderful place to live and start a family.
Ridgeland has wonderful a school system that sets high standards for their students and challenges them to be their best. The city is diverse when it comes to food and exercise opportunities. However, Ridgeland is considered to be landlocked; therefore, there are not as many open jobs or upcoming residential areas to be interested in.
