Richton is just your typical small hometown city. There is not much to see or much to do; however, I would not have it any other way. The people are friendly and you always see someone you know around town! It is one of the safest places around, too.

Small town living with convenient travel time (one hour or less) to larger cities such as Hattiesburg & Laurel. Quiet, country people in a tight-knit community that support each other during times of crisis, sickness or just day-to-day living.
It's a small town. It doesn't have but 2 traffic lights. Most businesses know you by name and treat you like family. It has one grocery store and a few dollars stores. It has two local banks and other small businesses. When you are in richton you feel as if you are home.
