Born and raised and came back to raise my own family. I wish it was more diverse, but is very economically diverse. Many public services for the elderly, but I wish more services for young families.
I am only living here because the majority of my family is. I would not choose to live here again. I do see, however, improvements in the area, namely specific "up-and-coming" neighborhoods downtown.
There really isnt that many mom-and-pop shops around as there is bigger companies. You have the usual popular stores such as target and walmart, lowes, home depot, giant eagle and kohls. There isnt many things that you cant get around here which is nice
