Richland is a great small town. It is one of three neighboring cities and I think it is by far the safest and most visual appealing city. It has cute shops with delicious food and it has some of the most beautiful parks. There are lots of resources in Richland like the Public library, hospitals, and etc... One thing I would like to see chnage is the roads. The roads need to be redone so there are not as many pot holes. With this change, the city of Richland would be perfect!

I've lived in Richland for 10 years. I'm a high school senior at Richland high school. The booming city of richland was created around the Hanford Nuclear Project. One day, all of the Hanford workers donated a days pay to the war effort which built a whole B-17. From then on, we have celebrated our past. It is not a display of power, but a sign of respect for those who came before us. We are deeply rooted. Richland is technically a desert, but still a beautiful place to live. Summers are hot and winters are cold. Neighborhoods are nice and everyone is a big community. The accommodations are great! We have a mall and most of the major retail and restaurants found elsewhere. There isn't a ton to do, but Richland is surrounded by many tourist opportunities. I'm happy to call Richland home.
Richland is the perfect mix between a small town and a big city. It has the feel of a small town where you know and love you neighbors and everyone has their favorite town high school (go bombers!). However, it's not so small where you know everyone and everyone is all up in your business. There are also a lot of fun things to do on the weekends but not so many that we attract pesky tourists. It's the perfect mix and not to mention beautiful!
