Growing up in Richfield has been a mixed experience. As I child I enjoyed the many parks and the simple layout of the city that made it easy to get around and I always felt safe. As I've grown older I've come to see some aspects of the town that could maybe change. Although I never personally attended Richfield public schools, I have friends who do, and their experience was somewhat negative and I know they wish to see improvement in their schools. I have also noticed that there is room for growth and improvement in this town that is not being taken advantage of. The Hub is a good example, as it is a shopping center in which most businesses are closing and vacating. I and other members of the community have mentioned turning that area into a community center for the town, as there is not currently one present.
