I absolutely love living in Rexburg. It is a college town, with the college students making up a large sum of the population. Brigham Young University-Idaho, a private LDS (Mormon) university, is the university that this town has been built around. Because of the strong Mormon culture here, the town itself is extremely safe and family friendly. The people in Rexburg are extremely kind and welcoming to all! The college also poses some issues here: there are few job opportunities, not much night life, and there are few restaurants. Overall, the excellent college, the friendly people, and the low cost of living makes all of the downfalls worth it.

Small town, big opportunities! First off, since Rexburg is a college town, there is plenty to do! All of which is date night friendly, as well as family friendly. Most of the food places are local, and delicious! Great service, reasonable pricing. Cost of living in cheap, and most apartments or homes are newer! Rexburg is expanding quickly, but the safety of a small town still exists. It's warm and inviting here, and you're able to live among a community that truly loves one another. Pretty amazing!
Rexburg is a nice little college town. Most everything you need is within walking distance of campus (grocery store, LDS temple, hospital, etc.) and there are lots of fun places to eat. It is a small town, so we don't have a mall or any big stores. We do have a Walmart and a couple of movie theaters, and anything else you might need is just 20 minutes away in Idaho Falls. The people here are generally very friendly and willing to help out. The streets are clean and there are multiple parks nearby to hang out in. Despite the size of the town, we do have quite a few perks nearby such as hair schools and a massage school where you can receive services for extremely low prices ($5 haircuts for example). There is also at least one gym in town. Overall, Rexburg is a very enjoyable place to live!
