Working in Rexburg
A small town with good people and much love! A community that is safe, friendly, and fun. There are many park areas around the Brigham Young University campus. Mixed in with a few grocery stores, clothing shops, barber shops, and banks and other businesses, this little town has everything necessary to sustain life. If you don't like the options in-town, half an hour drive in any direction will give you more opportunities to hike, shop, and explore.
Rexburg is a little college town almost in the middle of nowhere, but it has plenty of charm! Main Street, Center Street, 2nd South, and College Ave have an old town feel to them, with lots of cute little shops to peek in at. Food trucks dot 2nd East, along with some fancier restaurants. There IS a Wal-mart, thankfully, and a few other grocery stores. There are two parks near Main Street, and in the summer they are full of hammocks. There are always things going on at the college, Brigham Young University. The area around the college is packed with students and housing, but there is a substantial residential area beyond that. Outside the city there is a camping/swimming recreational area called Beaver Dick Park, and some fun sand dunes further north. It's a very safe and friendly community, with lots to do if you look hard enough!
Rexburg is a small college town. I love that the community comes together and puts on activities like the farmers markets. But there are not enough officers around to help with traffic laws. Many times the college students believe they can do whatever they want and that there are no consequences. It can be annoying, but overall this is a great town!
