Love Redondo Beach, CA. It is such an amazing area with tons to do. Great restaurants, great beaches, and clean town to live in.
I like how laid back the town is and how great the school and beach is. I've had an overall good experience in Redondo Beach.
Very impressed with Redondo Beach so far. My neighborhood is insanely clean & safe with no homeless people (I don't think I've seen once since I moved here in August) and very relaxed atmosphere during COVID-19. I also feel it's safer than Los Angeles proper with regards to the spread of the virus. It's great for families too with lots of mini "Parkettes" around (or small "pop up" recreation areas.)
It's very visual too in terms of surroundings. Also great highway access to get up to L.A. and traffic usually isn't too bad to do so. The beach is biking distance and even Torrance is technically in walking distance in my neighborhood. Lot's of great "hole in the wall" bars with food too.
Everyone has been very approachable and friendly too me so far. I have lived in Denver, Austin, Metro Los Angeles and the NYC-Area and Redondo so far has been the friendliest and most welcoming.

Super safe location! Family oriented, yet great place to have fun. Great mix of down to earth people who love life.
It's Beautiful here . People are friendly. Streets need new signs and lights . More handicap Accessible. Redone park equipment.
Very beautiful neighborhood with very good education systems. Also has one of the best high schools in the county. go seahawks!
Beautiful place to live, but can only truly enjoy if you're well off financially. You can't find a decent house here for less than 800k, and the better houses/areas are always over 1 million. Very liberal area. Very safe and family friendly, the problem is the housing affordability. The public schools are excellent. So, if you have enough money or are not expecting a gorgeous house as you would other places, come on over!
Redondo Beach is a cozy beach town with little tourism. Our beaches are clean and family friendly and there is a welcoming outdoor life. There's much to do and great little joints to get a bite to eat along with adorable boutiques all with friendly staff.
I love the location of Redondo beach because I live right near the beach, it’s mostly sunny but we get the ocean breeze, and it’s located close to many other nice areas, such as LA, Manhattan Beach, PV, etc. Also, the high school is really large and offers many courses. The biggest downside is that it is expensive to live here!
Redondo Beach Unified School District was what brought my wife and I to Redondo Beach ensuring our two boys received the best academic opportunities almost 6 years ago and it has been the best decision of our marriage. Whilst it is undeniable that the cost of living is generally much higher than other cities (even those just 5 miles away). I always jokingly say that I don't pay rent, I look at it like I'm paying "tuition" for my kids top rate education and my family gets a place to live for free.
The main drawback revolves around the cost of living for families that aren't as financially prosperous as a majority of families that live here. Being that there isn't very much "financial diversity", there isn't as many visible programs offering financial assistance to families that make just enough to "pay the bills" but just barely.

As a minority, Redondo Beach feels like a normal, safe environment that is suitable for individuals and families of varying types. Moving into a suburban area located in the outskirts of Los Angeles, I was anxious and worried; however, Redondo's welcoming community provided a multitude of recreational activities and events.
Redondo Beach is a beautiful and diverse town. You see all walks of life in Redondo from the retirees living in their ocean view homes in South Redondo to the busy bees living in the cozy townhomes of North Redondo. There's always something to be done and somewhere to go, and being so close to Los Angeles you get the benefits of all that the city offers without having to live amongst the skyscrapers.
It's a nice, chill little town! Very family friendly. Everybody has dogs, the school system is great as well. My church is awesome and I've made good friends within Redondo's schools!
I have lived in Redondo Beach all my life. Redondo Beach is a very diverse city. The diversity allows you to meet many different types of people and learn about different cultures. Many people in Redondo Beach are quite friendly with outgoing personalities.
I have a very positive experience with Redondo Beach, but I wish there was more parking because there is a high population density.
Redondo Beach California is a great mid size community along the coast of Los Angeles. There are many restaurants and shops around the neighborhood and a great pier to visit with family and friends. The beaches do not get to crowded, so its easy to go for a nice walk. The weather averages in the 70's F most days with a little bit of rainfall here and there. The school district is very good from elementary to high school, which makes this location ideal for families. The neighbor usually decorate for holiday seasons such as Halloween and Christmas. Overall, this little mid size community is great place. I recommend recommend Redondo Beach as a place to live or visit.
This has been a wonderful area to grow up. I attended all the local public schools growing up, and I feel prepared for the world. The city is a wonderful place, full of great places to eat and have fun. Such a short walk to the beach makes this one of the nicest areas to live in the south bay.
