Average town, nothing really outstanding, but a good place to consider to live never the less. Never had a issue with the school, worrying about walking down the street, or going to the store. There small stores to get a job at, or near by cities to get work at, and overall an average place to live. Like any city you have good people, bad people, little crime as no place is flawless, but this is still one of the safer places to live in this area.
Rector is a small town with family values. Most people are friendly and willing to lend a hand if needed. Rector is well kept and pleasing to sight when passing through. Rector has many festivities and activities throughout the year. I would like to see more business established in Rector.
There is some crime in this area. Most of the officers are lazy and just drawing a paycheck instead of caring for the communities safety. Not much confidence in the police department.
