Reading is a very beautiful town. I had moved here when I was about ten, and I love the area. it is beautiful, and I have made many friends here. One thing I would change about Reading would be the crime.
I grew up here, so I may be a bit biased. It is such an amazing place to be. A bunch of places to shop and hang out. The best place for a tourist to see a glimpse of Pennsylvania. I currently live here, and it hasn't changed much since I was a kid. The streets are exactly the same as they were 16 years ago. It isn't too bad, but Pennsylvania roads can cause some crazy damage to your car. Probably the only downside to being in Pennsylvania. Other than that, I'd say come visit! I promise its an amazing experience!
Reading is a city of chances and opportunity. The people always striving for greatness and growth, the city officials looking for opportunities to connect with the community, and all walks of life are treated as equals.
West Reading provides lots of entertainment with different restaurants, family extravaganzas, and fun for the whole family! In addition, Reading has lots of movie theaters, local orchestras, and events happening all the time!
Reading is okay. We live on the outskirts of Reading so we don't have to deal with a lot of the crime and violence that goes on in Reading city. The outskirts are quite nice and it's very peaceful. Lots of shops and places to go to eat as well.
The city overall is pretty good, very clean. The city of Reading and Mayor do it’s best to keep the city safe for its residents. It’s easy to get jobs, always a place where they are hiring. Getting into college isn’t much work and it’s very easy to get your education. They offer insurance and housing for people who are struggling and much more. Lonnie Walker has also helped a lot with the children in our schools with programs to keep them active and healthy.
The city of Reading, located in southeastern Pennsylvania, is the principal city of the Greater Reading Area and the county seat for Berks County. With a population of 88,082 as of the 2010 census, it is the fifth most populated city in the state, after Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Allentown and Erie, and the sixth-most-populous municipality. I love Reading, there are several aspects of Reading that are very good, but also many things that must be changed.
Born and raised, everyone talks so little of Reading Pennsylvania. But no one will know unless you actually live in ready. Remember when someone stated "Reading School districts are horrible". Correction, th

I like how inside of Reading there are many towns and many schools in which you can be a part of. With 2 private catholic schools it makes the community rather diverse. In the city it has more diversity then any other spot within the towns. With multiple colleges in this area it is helping make that change for the better.
I love it here I wish there was more of a night life out here but other than that it's a very friendly setting.
I love Reading! I understand that Reading is known for many negative aspects, but I've lived here for about 17-18 years of my life and have created such beautiful memories! If you're all about furthering your own selfish ambitions, then you will never see the potential in all of the people around you. Essentially, if you're saying that Reading is garbage, you're saying its people are garbage, which would mean that you don't truly value life and people. Making progress in bettering the city of Reading would include acknowledging the importance of the lives of those in Reading. Everyone is truly valuable and has a God-given talent that can make the city thrive! It's all a matter of how you perceive things to be. We need to recognize how beautiful life is, no matter the current circumstances of the person. If we cannot love our neighbor, then that is the root of the problem. God has called us to love people and our Creator.
The Reading area has always been my home. PA is a beautiful state. Cost of living isn't too bad, but taxes aren't great, especially in some of the school districts. I don't live in the city, I live about 5-10 minutes outside of it. But it's not as bad as some people make it sound. I think Chicago, Philly, and other cities still have it beat.
Everything is what you make it! Reading is a place full of diversity. I come from new york so living in a small town is a big change. Reading is a town that is unique you can find different people and food. There are many Puerto Rican places to go eat, and visit.
I love my town because is really quite. We have farm on this area of Reading and I'm happy because I love the nature. Reading Pennsylvania is beautiful. We have outlets with several store so you cannot get bored.
Reading is the best city never see before. Great community with huge possibilities to enhance a beautiful place. I can't imagine not living here. Otherwise, they need more atractions for kids and students. Impprove activities with students I think is the better idea to commute al oppotunities the city have.
I live in the same house basically all my life. My family and the neighbors are very close, they all basically raised me and watch me grow into a young civilized woman. I wouldn't trade this feeling for anything in the world.
