Current Resident:Edgewood is a beautiful town of 19th and early 20th Century homes on the edge of the City of Pittsburgh. A little over a third of the borough is also considered part of Regent Square and blends nicely into the rest of Pittsburgh's East End. The easy access to Squirrel Hill, Frick Park, and easy commute to downtown via the East Busway or I-376 can't be beat.

Current Resident:Arlington is a very beautiful area! So many national monuments near by to visit and admire. Lots of trails for exercising and health food stores for people who love to live that healthy lifestyle. Only down side would be the traffic, but it's not anything someone can't handle.

Current Resident:Morrisville a great place to live. I moved here with my parents 5 years ago and have only had positive experiences. I live in a townhouse in a small close knit community, that is only a three minute walk away from a Harris Teeter, Gas Station, Subways, Pizza Place, Indian grocery stores, and many more restaurants. The crime levels around here as far as I know are very low. The only thefts that I have heard of happened a couple miles over in Cary. Kids who live in Morrisville also have access to great elementary schools like Cedar Fork, middle schools like Davis Drive and West Cary, and high schools like Panther Creek and Green Hope. Many of my neighbors and my dad all work in the IT Department, as it is always looking for new employees. There are also several other job opportunities here for adults and teenagers like myself. Overall, it's a great place to live and highly recommend it to anyone moving to North Carolina or looking for a new place to live.

Current Resident:I loved how easy it was to find a scholarship and apply. It's one click away! I chose to apply for scholarships that do not have an essay requirement because I personally don't feel like essays display my full potemtial. I also did not want to pretend like I could write an essay on a topic that completely dissatisfied me.

Current Resident:Cambridge is for those who wish to explore more than lines on a map. It’s for diving into history and traveling beyond "The New World." Embodying all there is to learn, explore, breathe, create, and dream big dreams. Where your children will arrive bright-eyed, their knowledge expanding well beyond the typical classroom. Harvard, MIT, BU and Lesley all within a stones' throw, Cambridge was built to develop minds and encourage creativity. Rowing, Biking, Reading and Writing, farmers markets, an endless search for healthy alternatives, and clean living, reside here. Competition, debate and success, one’s sole goal. Sugar-coating moments are rare, for we are fierce in our convictions. Politeness, decorum, an ever-changing residency, leave behind a youthful spirit. Whether a young couple on the move or a senior learning to move again, Cambridge will energize you in ways you 've never imagined.
Bring your body and mind to Cambridge... You can only GROW from here!

Current Resident:Overall Vinings is like the best of both worlds. One can experience the convenience of living just outside of the city and having the peace of the suburbs at night. There are a lot of places to shop, dine and explore, including access to the Silver Comet Trail. It is the perfect in-between of the city and suburbs!

Current Resident:I grew up in the neighboring area, left for school and a little bit after college, and wound up coming back because of the wonderful opportunities in and near the area, as well as the lifestyle it would enable me to lead! I'd like to see a better selection of restaurants and nightlife, but the proximity to the city definitely makes up for it.

    • Suburb in Virginia
    • 4 reviews
Niche User:There are many stores and restaurants, even a movie theater, within walking distance. The biggest drawback is the cost of housing in this area. Also, my former residence had more green spaces nearby. However, if you want the convenience of metro access, and a wide variety of shopping and entertainment options super close by, this is a terrific area!

    • Suburb in Virginia
    • 9 reviews
Niche User:Ever since I moved here, I have stopped worrying about dangerous activities ensuing in the environment. The crime rate here is low an unfrequent. I moved from West Virginia, where drug activities are substantially higher. In Virginia, the police have a stronger authority and are generally more respected for doing their jobs properly. It is overall peaceful and more active, as the first thing I noticed was the amount of people jogging and playing outdoors. The citizens are friendly, and potential crime threats are minimum.

    • City in Virginia
    • 76 reviews
Current Resident:Alexandria is a suburb in the Virginia, DC area. The cost of living is high; the Realestate market is costly, and some amenities associated with living in a big city, even though we are less than 20 minutes from DC, are missing. For instance, there are very few 24 hour dining experiences available.

Old Town Alexandria is a beautiful and historic town with many fine dining and expensive store fronts. It's an affluent area. It can be hard to afford to live here. But if you can, it's a wonderful place to be!
