    Howard County

    • County in Maryland
    • 72 reviews
Current Resident:The most striking thing about Howard is how there is so much to do all the time for anyone! The number of activities for all age groups is staggering, so the area is great for children. Also, the diversity within Howard is exceptional, so it's easy to find a connection with a special group of people. Finally, the schools are also amazing from elementary to higher education, providing students with ample opportunities to learn and grow.

    Los Alamos County

    • County in New Mexico
    • 2 reviews
Nearby Resident:I attend school at Los Alamos and I find it very refreshing up there in the mountain. There are a number of things to do in the area. I utilize the library, for movies and books; Smith's grocery store, has a Starbucks and sushi ; Supercuts for my kids haircuts; and Ashley Pond.

If there would be an improvement in the area I would like to see a Taco Bell. When I am at school there isn't a local place to eat when you just want something affordable. A local catering company has recently been housed on campus but the price for coffee, pastries or meal is too high for most students on a budget. When I have class all day and one right after another I need something in walking distance, quick, and affordable.

I enjoy the city. I live in San Ildefonso Pueblo down the hill from the town and it's nice to experience what the city has to offer. It is a twenty minute drive from home and with two kids it's great that it's close and I can get a lot done.

    Oconee County

    • County in Georgia
    • 1 review
Current Resident:There are many many opportunities to get involved in the community. I have interacted with well over 50 local businesses, helped non-profits, and utilized the school's abundance of options. If myself as a senior in Highschool can be this involved, imagine what you, as a prospective business owner/homeowner/parent, can do!

    Williamson County

    • County in Tennessee
    • 114 reviews
Niche User:The crime safety is almost too good. The police departments are huge. Chattanooga has twice the population of Franklin, but Franklin has more police officers! This is partly because Williamson County is the 13th wealthiest county in the entire nation. The sweet southern town has a good heart, but is a bit too strict. Don't speed or you will get a ticket, don't be driving around at 2 am or you will be pulled over and a suspect of DUI. This strict authority is necessary for keeping the streets as clean as they are.

    Montgomery County

    • County in Pennsylvania
    • 4 reviews
Former Resident:Love how overall clean it is. There are many businesses as well as safe, nice private homes. The school systems are great and one of the nicest YMCA's, park systems, and historic sites are found in this county. It is also easily accessible to the major metropolis area of Philadelphia. I highly recommend this area for anyone who is looking for a nice place to raise a family or to just retire.

    Chester County

    • County in Pennsylvania

    Westchester County

    • County in New York
    • 12 reviews
Current Resident:Westchester is filled with many recreational activities for families and persons of all ages. It's diversity is reflected in it's people that help to bring a deeper perspective and social awareness to schools, churches and local community centers. Westchester has a close proximity to New York City via a short ride on the Metro North allowing for greater access to cultural and arts activities. Westchester is filled with great places to eat and shop that are budget friendly or lavishly decadent. The areas of lower Westchester with the beauty of the Bronx River to the north Westchester farms and landscape create a serene environment while still being close to the fun of the Bronx's New York Botanical Garden and the Bronx Zoo. Westchester is a county that will help create many lasting memories to both the resident or the adventurous visitor!

Current Resident:I truly have enjoyed living in Johnson county. The roads are always well lit, the streets are always clean, and the crime rates are low. Compared to my temporary residence for college, Topeka, Johnson county gets a hundred stars. I also truly loved the school system, which is ranked pretty high. Overall, Johnson county is a great place to live and one in which I hope to make my future home after graduation.

    Montgomery County

    • County in Maryland
    • 71 reviews
Current Resident:I live in Montgomery County, MD. I like the area but I feel like it is a very expensive place to live on your own and are making at least 50,000 or more a year and you want to buy your own house. The cost of living in this county is expensive but if you work hard you should live comfortably. This county has excellent public and private schools, very well safety, family friendly, the diversity is widespread. There are definitely a lot of job opportunities. There is a lot of activities you can do here for kids and adults.

    Delaware County

    • County in Ohio
    • 13 reviews
Current Resident:My overall experience of Delaware, Ohio is a pretty good one. I have lived in this county for almost 13 years now, and I would not want to move! I love where my house is at because I do not believe that I have ever seen a prettier sunset. Also, the people are great here. They are friendly enough to talk to you if you want someone to talk to, but they do not care to get all up in your business.
However, I would like to the the roads fixed up. There are cracks and other things, like trash on the sides of the roads, that just make everything look bummy.

    Washtenaw County

    • County in Michigan
    • 11 reviews
Niche User:It's a very nice area with caring people and good opportunities. It is in it's own area so you aren't in a crowded city, but just a short drive can get you to a different atmosphere. I think that this community is becoming more liberal and I believe it will become more accepting of change over the years. I would definitely live here again and would rate this a 4/5.

    Fairfax County

    • County in Virginia
    • 350 reviews
Former Resident:Fairfax, VA is clean, safe, diverse, plenty of non-parallel parking, clean public parks and services, abundance of public bus transportations. One recommendation: less honking on the road and be more calm and connect with neighbors more through public events and fundraisers would be both rewarding and wonderful!

    Fayette County

    • County in Georgia
    • 85 reviews
Current Resident:Fayetteville is a great town that offers a lot of excitementMy parents had five kids, including me, and we moved to Fayetteville specifically for the school system. It is lacking in the department of things to do, especially for teenagers and young adults. Luckily, the exciting city of Atlanta is less than 45 minutes away. The weather is usually really nice and there are a lot of sport opportunities like soccer, baseball, lacrosse, and swimming teams right inside the town. It's a great town to move to if you have kids or plan on having kids. Although it is a little dull for teenagers, whether its hanging out at Chick-Fil-A or skating at Dazzles, we always manage to find something to do!

    Carver County

    • County in Minnesota
    • 2 reviews
Current Resident:My family moved here over twenty years ago, back when it was nearly all farmland! As the years went by, and as it became more and more urbanized, it has become a major place to live within Minnesota. Something new is always being built, yet it still has the surrounding towns have the "small town" feel to them. Although it is becoming very expensive to live there, Carver County is full of future potential for both domestic and industrial atmospheres!
