Quinlan is a small town with a lot of potential. It has some great character but could use a face lift. There are several dilapidated homes and abandoned businesses. Even though there are annual SCRUB days to rid homes of trash, many people do not use the program. This could be a great community if codes were followed and residents took pride in their homes, schools, and businesses. Recently, a park was constructed for the community. This has provided a fantastic opportunity for families to gather and exercise, cook out, and get to know their neighbors. The cost of living is low. There are adequate grocery and shopping venues locally.

It has the best school district and has a good amount of stores for shopping. Lots of fast food. Also it has a wide range of sports. It has a big lake. But the houses for rent are not so great. The school year of 2017-2018 jumped
incredibly . The Middle School jumped from around 450-500 kids the last school year to over 600 kids in the middle school. So I would come while you can. Also the middle school has been ranked with the best attendance for the last two school year. They have some of the best teachers ever.
Quinlan is a small town, so it is pretty quick to get to a place near home. As for things I want to change about Quinlan, I would suggest putting a stoplight at the intersection of State Highway 276 and Spur 264.
