Quartz Hill Reviews
Quartz Hill is family friendly, Lot sizes are large. The diverse community is friendly . School District is the best int he Antelope Valley. Vast number of the neighbors are professionals from aerospace. Median HOme prices are 450,000. Safe to walk and run late at night. The most dangerous thing about the City is the frequent siting of coyotes all year long. Also quite a bit of snakes on walking trails during the hot summer months. The City tends to be extremly windy in the evening.
Quartz Hill is a small, pleasant town that's a bit nicer and friendlier than the surrounding cities. A decent place to live if you don't mind the desert!
A little bit bigger than your typical small town and mostly suburban areas, I personally have come to love the Antelope Valley. One thing I would change is the activities are limited, for example areas around (1 hours drive away) have ice skating rinks or parks, the AV has limited selection.
