I want to extend kudos to Bayfront Health & Rehab Center at 733 E. Olympia Ave. Living 6 months in Punta Gorda each year opens many avenues of life,
having lived through some life threatening events in previous months in Ohio, I had stepped into a sluggish lifestyle. I assumed I was doing fine, even though I was tired most of the time. My Florida cardiologist recommended Bayfront cardiac rehab. I was monitored and evaluated every visit by RNs Jennine, Marie, Teresa and Penny. My strength & confidence grew. A much appreciated service!

Lived in Punta Gorda for many years. Raised my children here. Still a good place to be. We've survived major hurricanes and came back strong. There are lots of new restaurants and places to go. Fairly quiet town. As the rest of the country, we are dealing with different opinions on dealing with the pandemic- masks or no masks, along with making the world a better place through racial equality- improvements needing to be made. Lots of people working together. Great fishing!
Punta Gorda is a small town that is appreicated more as one gets older. It is heavily catered to families and those who are 55+ in age. The city's location in Charlotte Harbor provides plentiful opportunities to fish, go to the beach, go boating, and overall enjoy life on the west coast of Florida. Although there are no beaches in Punta Gorda, there are multiple locations that satellite the area that can satisfy the need to observe the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Punta Gorda is a town where living is slow and the weather is always hot.
