Providence is a beautiful, quiet city tucked up against the mountains in Cache Valley with a beautiful view of the entire valley from some points. The people have a tradition of friendliness and community connection. With a country feel yet big city access, starry nights, brilliant sunny days, and recreation, cultural events, arts and volunteer and diversity accessible in every direction, it is the perfect adventure zone for the single person and vacation lifestyle family residence destination. Education is top notch and community events are stellar.
I like that Providence has a small town feel. Several residence own big properties which they do not build on. It is nice to have that open space. On the downside, there are a lot of properties being sold to developers that build houses on every inch. This creates a very crowded out feeling to the area. I would like more of these properties to be turned over to the government to be developed into recreational open spaces and parks. The residents here are friendly which creates for a safe, family friendly environment. My commute to work is only 20 minutes across the valley with very little traffic. The cost of living is very low yet the real estate market is appreciating in value.
Providence is a great place to live. Its clean, safe, and the people are friendly. I think that Providence has the best maintained baseball complex in the valley.
