We have been in Prosper since May of 2018 and it has grown a lot even in that short time. Prosper is unique in having that small-town feel but still be close to big box stores. Prosper is very family-centric with amazing schools it's the perfect area to raise a family.
I have lived in Prosper most of my life and it has grown tremendously in the years. I love it and want to move back after college!!
Prosper is a lovely town that is rapidly expanding. I've lived here since it was just a few buildings and a couple schools, and the growth has been nothing but awe inspiring. So many lovely people live here and the sense of community is unparalleled
My experience with Prosper has been overall Positive! I have lived here since I was in kindergarten and the community opportunities that you can have here are endless. The athletic and fine arts programs are very good within the schools so there is something for every student. Prosper also has as small town feel while also being close to big cities. While it may feel like there is nothing to do sometimes, many activities are only a short drive away. While the schools are overcrowded, I have still found a way to make friends I can tell I will be friends with for a long time. The community also has many events within the town and many of the celebrations and festivals are fun. With many shops and places opening in Prosper, the activities will also grow. If you are an outdoor person, Prosper might not be the town for you but there are hiking trails and lakes near by. The diversity in this town is also growing and while it still is mainly conservative, there are some liberal people.
I love Prosper! It has grown tremendously since I moved here in 2017 and it has continued ever since. I love the suburban scene and I am hopeful for the future!
Don't get me wrong, I love this town, but I feel like I have outgrown it. Though, since my 11 years of living here, a lot has changed. For one, there are two new shopping centers, with a large variety of fast food and restaurants. Not much else to do besides go to the movie theatre at the edge of town or to the local parks. There are twelve elementary schools, four middle schools, and two high schools. The academic opportunities at these schools are almost to the point of collegiate standards. They have everything from floral design to veterinary technology to aerospace engineering. Not to mention the top-tier athletic abilities these students show. Just last year our lady eagles cross-country team won districts, regionals, with a runner placing first at state! The football games here are wild, always on the edge of our seats, but never disappointed. It's a great town, but I am ready to spread my wings like the Prosper Eagle I am and fly!
Prosper is a wonderful town to live in. I moved here mainly for the schools and they did not disappoint! Both the teachers, coaches, and admin care more about the student's success than their own personal gain, they spend many extra hours helping their students. The people in this town are kind and welcoming and there are tons of things for and parents to do involving the community. The atmosphere of this town is amazing with a lot of town spirit including a lot of spirit for both high schools. The local and school district police departments both work diligently to protect the citizens of the community and keep Prosper a crime-free town. Overall, Prosper's citizens, leaders, teachers and law enforcement come together to make prosper a great place to live.
For the most part, the people are nice and it's very spacious. It's a continuously growing town though, so there's much more in store in the future.
Good community and people. There are stores nearby so you won't have to drive far. Very safe town to live in and great for new families with children.

I love the community events. There are always events going on bringing people in the community together whether that is movie night at the stadium, pumpkin patches, the new outlet mall area, football games, other sporting events, etc. Schools are great. Teachers are very interested in helping their students and have the best of their students always in mind.
Beautiful, green, clean and friendly city! Schools top notch! Many sport spots for practice! Roads are wide, gate of prosper, PGA and many other retailers closed by!
My family has lived here for 9 years now - I consider it the place I grew up in. It's a very close knit community although it is now experiencing a lot of growth.
I've lived in Prosper for 14 years, and love the town! Proximity to the Dallas metroplex is a major plus, and even with rapid growth, the small town vibe still remains.
I have lived in Prosper for almost 10 years now, and have seen a lot of the new changes. I personally do not enjoy them. However it is nice being able to only drive 5 minutes to eat or shop instead of 30+ minutes. The schools have slowly gotten worse due to the fact that Prosper ISD is hiring brand new teachers and not training them properly. I transfer over to a different school because of this and the terrible high school culture.
Prosper is a family friendly town with a very fast growth rate. Schools are being built as a priority for the number of people relocating to town. There are restaurants and shopping in town and medical facilities within a short drive. This town in a short drive from DFW airport and provides convenient access to the North Dallas Tollway. Prosper provides academic excellence, modern shopping experiences, and friendly neighborhoods for growing families.
It's a fine town but there is very low diversity. The houses throughout the town are generally nice and the town itself is nice. If you care about diversity or if you're not conservative, then Prosper isn't the right place for you to live. The town is growing and becoming more populated. The schools are crowded, but good for academics. It's safe and has many families. It's fine.
