Princeton is a town that at times, can feel like either a city, or a small town, or even both at the same time. The Gibson County fair is held here. There's fairs, festivals, concerts, and there are neighbors that are nice and there are decent houses. Princeton has a good parks district and a public pool. The high school here is a pretty decent school, and there's plenty of spots to go and study, hang out with friends, or just take a walk. Overall, it's a nice town, and it's only about 45 minutes from Evansville, where there's even more stuff to do.
This is not the best town to go to. People are rather hateful and there is a sewer plant that isn’t treated right, which causes a retcid smell almost all over town. It is actually sort of known for the stink. Once you come here, no one ever really leaves. There is A LOT of hard drugs and just an overall bad experience. The schools are subpar at best. There is a movie theatre and bowling alley, and that is the only form of entertainment. Also, there is one bar located right across the street from the count jail, but they serve good pizza. Restaurants are okay, but most of them are truly disgusting. The town would also rather spend a bunch of money on widening sidewalks around the courthouse than filling the MANY pot holes all over the town. It’s a black hole. However, there are some rare people here that you would never meet any where else and they are truly amazing. I would stay away, though, if you had a choice.
Princeton is pretty alright. I don’t really have any complaints about it. There is an Applebee’s, Walmart, Bob Evens. It’s not great nor bad. Just alright.
