It's very difficult to fit in to the community unless you are 1) asked to participate into the community, 2)do something that makes you stand out in the community in which people accept, or 3) simply "join" casually into the community. Whether as a student or parent or someone moving in, it is difficult both ways.

Prescott is a town where you have to fit in with others. If you mind your own business or stay to yourself, you'll be outcasted and bullied. You have to be fake and a drama person to be liked. Its a town full of corruption, hate crime, bullies, and the polices just care about money. Everyone is in everybody's business! The people in the town is known for stealing, slandering, harassing, stalking, and bullying. There is not many job opportunities in the town, so you have to go to hope or arkadelphia to get a decent job. The people pretend to be nice, but in reality like to gossip and keep up drama. Prescott is a town full of crack heads, killers, and drug dealers. Its a trap town and I wouldnt recommend a family or single person to move to this town.
Small dying town full of corruption. The towns crooked politicians have been screwing citizens over for years with ridiculously high utility rates. The police here are a joke & will bring the entire squadron out for something as frivolous as a broken tail light. The citizens here have no pride in the community because its a terrible place to live. As the person before me said, its a town where you have to fit in to be accepted, "fit in" as in being in drama, gossiping about others, having children out of wedlock, etc. If you mind your business, you're deemed an outcast. The high school is a joke, just to find a decent job you have to drive out of your way to Hope or Arkadelphia. The city pool which has since been torn down, was a whites-only pool,up until about the mid-2000's when it closed down. Although race relations have gotten better over time, I still feel that is worth noting. Its a very poor & backwards place with lots of fake smiles, but the ones in charge like it that way.
