I have lived in Prattville for 7 years and I have made so many great friends! My favorite thing is that there are not many crimes and we are a great community. Prattville is great at welcoming new people and there are great places to shop and eat at! The schools are amazing and my personal favorite school is Prattville Christian Academy. There are many things to do, There is the bamboo forest, shopping stores, parks, creeks, Frios, Launch, and many more. I would recommend Prattville to anybody who is looking for a great city to live in.

We have lived in Prattville for 10 years. I'm not sure about the public schools, but there are some very good private schools in the area. There is a good selection of medical professionals right here in town that we have been pleased with, from general practitioners to specialists in many areas. Many religious denominations are represented in Prattville, but we have not found that the cultural diversity of the population in general is present within the churches. Shopping and dining opportunities are plentiful in Prattville, from small locally owned establishments to major chain stores and restaurants. The downtown area is small but very scenic and with a variety of shops and eateries. Overall, Prattville has been a good fit for our family since we don't like big city living, although there has been an increase in crime, especially home and vehicle break-ins, in the last 10 years. There aren't a lot of good jobs right here in town, but Montgomery is a pretty easy commute.
I absolutely love Prattville. It is a small town 10 minutes North of the Capital City, Montgomery Alabama. It is quite and quaint yet we have plenty of shopping and restaurants. The Friday night football games are the best and remind you what community is all about.
