I love Prairieville, it is a lovely little town with everything you need. Fast food to nice restaurants, corner stores to malls, Prairieville is big enough to cover everything without becoming overwhelming, and it's growing every day!

Prairieville is a flourishing suburb known for offering several top public schools. With the increase in population and plethora of new construction, traffic has seen an increase in the area, but is still managaeable. In several areas, expanding current roadways is necessary to alleviate the effects of the city's growth. Another great aspect of this suburb is its proximity to the capital as well as Gonzales. The convenience of suburban life is enhanced by the shopping, dining, and other recreations nearby.
Ok, so the crime does seem low. No issues there. The traffic however is TERRIBLE!! You can count on an hour commute during peak hours. It is literally a crawl in all directions. Family friendly, well other than low crime I'm struggling to find much. Quite substandard parks with little to nothing for children to play on. The Prairieville Park in particular is completely run down with bathrooms so disgusting I wouldn't let my dog in there. Urine smell, dirty clothes and broken glass all over. The equipment, what little is there is, is broken and dilapidated. Also, walking or biking ANYWHERE is completely out of the question. The traffic is so heavy with no sidewalks or even shoulders make it impossible to go anywhere w/o driving a vehicle to get there. The people are really nice and the library is nice, once the construction is completed that is. Right now it's a mess and VERY difficult to get in and out on major highway during peak hours especially.
