The community is tightly nit and very alive and active! The university system is going through expansion and, thought there are growing pains, there are consistent and progressive attempts at improvement.

I like that this school has a great business and nursing program. It is also an amazing HBCU that provides fun activities and career opportunities every week. The students, professor, and employees are all friendly and great people to be around. There are always events to meet and connect with other people, as well as convenient places to study or just relax between classes. Although a wide selection of meals may not be offered in the cafeteria, PV provides restaurants where you can order food and take it to-go.
Its a small college city, not much to do besides go to school but located next to some bigger cities that offer more activities and places to go.
