Every month or so there will be two or three car break ins.
Around Bonney Lake is a pretty decent place other than the lack of entertainment.
The area is pretty safe and is far away from the bigger cities surrounding it.
Good quiet place. Relatively safe and away from bigger cities. I've lived here for a while and have family here.
Other than the random murder-suicides that have happened, Bonney Lake is a great place to live. There isn't a whole lot to be worried about but there are small burglaries that happen occasionally
Bonney Lake is very average in every way I can think of.
"Gangs" apparently starting to show up. Many kids in this area and drug users approaching them. Not all neighbors are friendly, and animals roam the area freely.
Employment is good, not many are unemployed.
This town has just about everything you need from grocery shops, to apparel, to hair and nail salons. There is rarely a need to leave the town, other that the purpose of a different view. It has amazing well know restaurants as well as some good mom-and-pop places. There is always variety in what to have for dinner if eating out is your choice. There are 2, 24-hour grocery stores so there is never need to wait to fulfill that late night hunger, or emergency store run.
I am a vegetarian myself and there isnt a lot of availabe places to eat. But we do live close to a lot of farming and local farmers that sell their produce, milk, beef, and foods. We also have a lot of farmers markets in the area. Since we have grown a lot the chain restraunts are there.
We have a large area of less fortunate neighborhoods and a high drug use in those areas, and we have multiple bars in the area along wtih multiple gyms. I think it is very diverse for healthy vs non healthy.
We have multiple services in our area for any needs, we have a small judicial office, multiple tax offices.
You will find everyone from all walks of life here.
There is a lot of diversity we have a lot of new build that are close together with similar layouts but there is a lot of old build that diversity is found.
We are on a big HWY that is sort of one way in one way out so there is quite a bit of traffic with lots of lights to get to where your headed, we have also grown so much that there is always construction but we have a lot of sidewalks and areas to walk.
It has grown so much, we have many gas stations, lots of retail stores, pharmacy, and multiple salons, bars and restraunts.
I worked in bonney lake since i was 16 and able to work at a couple different locations, since it has grown so much it has been easy to find a job.
