The most wonderful place to call home!
Great for raising children with many family friendly events, a caring population ,and a wonderful school district. Many artists also live here as the landscape is magnificent and lends itself to beautiful private properties.
Amazing is the fact you can find homes here from the $400,000s to over $12 million!

Elementary school is beautiful compares to private schools and is only for residents... Most students from Pound Ridge who graduated from high school attended top colleges and universities in the country. Neighbors maintain their property and all are on a minimum of 2 acres. The town facilities are beautiful and very well run. They again have fabulous camps, swim instruction and tennis. Pound Ridge Golf Course is highly rated and often played by local celebrities. Town Library is charming...Local market and shopping high quality...Very very safe... easily accessable to Bedford, Mt. Kisco, Stamford, Greenwich, and New Canaan. Lots to do, gorgeous hiking trails, tons of great restaurants nearby by car... Pound Ridge is a phenomenal place to live. We moved recently because of retirement and downsizing to Bronxville...but miss the gorgeous surroundings and air quality.
Pound Ridge was a great place to raise my children. The Bedford Schools are excellent, I feel that both of my children benefited greatly from their public school education. Nearby parks like the Pound Ridge Reservation and Leon Levy preserve as well as others provide plenty of opportunity for hiking and exploring the natural beauty around us. Nearby towns like Ridgefield, Katonah, New Caanan and Stamford offer plenty of restaurants and night life when you need it. Pound Ridge is a beautiful town within commuting distance of Manhattan.
