It is a very small "everybody knows everybody" town. Job opportunities are limited, but people don't move here for work. They move to Pottsboro for the education and for the community. Lake Texoma is right down the road and makes for great family and friend gatherings. The drive to local grocery stores or restaurants is a short fifteen to twenty minute drive. Meeting new people can be difficult at times, but going to the Friday night football games is an easy sure way to meet at least three other new families to connect with.

Small town. Boring but fun. I n order to make the best out of the small town, you must go out and attempt to find things to do because there is not a wide variety of easily-accessible things to do.
Pottsboro is a nice community, but the city doesn't have much for youth to keep them active. The best thing about Pottsboro is the Public Library--very community friendly!!
