Potomac is a great town to live in. Since it is only a short drive from Washington, DC, you get all the opportunities of a big city while still getting the small town feeling by living in Potomac. From Potomac Village with a mom-and-pop hardware store, to the easily accessible bustling capitol city, Potomac is a unique town as well as community to be a part of. The proximity to Washington, DC, has created a lot of diversity, since a lot of people in Potomac work in Washington. People from all walks of life live in my town, creating numerous cultural events year round.

Living in Potomac has been great. When my family moved here from Gaithersburg 8 years ago I didn't know what to expect. The people here are great and there is no bad choice as far as high school goes. Public or private they are all great schools!
Although there is excelent food in and around this suburb of waashingtoon DC, the ppeople here leave much to be desired and think they are better than everyone else. However, the convinievnvece to washington Dc is far too great to pass up.
