I love how easy it is to get around here. A downside to that is that the town is very small. Portales is a great college town to settle down and focus on studies. It has a very calming aura! There isn't much to see around here unless you want to drive a few hours to other New Mexico towns.

I love this town. Very good people, nothing needs to change! Easy to make friends and even find the love of your life! Community is always helping one another to strive for the better.
There is not much to do here. The only cool thing here is ENMU. I personally prefer Clovis Community College better, which is 30 minutes away. There is too many pizza restaurants. There isn't much of a variety of restaurants or activities around town. We only have two grocery stores that are too small for a university town.
