I haven't had any issues about the crime and safety in my area. Soon after I moved in, I heard about a recent crime involving underrage and immature kids, but I haven't heard anything like that since. My street has good security cameras, and my house has an alarm system, as do a lot of others as well. No problems have happened so far. I see police cars driving around all the time; hopefully this discourages potential crimes.

I'm very lucky and glad to live in the area that I do; it was a dream to be able to move out to the Portage Lakes. It was extremely worth it saving up for it, and I think as far as scenery, it is one of the best locations in the country! (as far as I've seen.)
Most of the food and nightlife in the area revolves around Denny's and Starbucks chain restaurants, with an occasional trip to the movies. Coventy is an all around quiet community, with little small time restaurants and shops. Most enjoyment comes from the food chains, and restaurants in Akron or Canton.
