I absolutely love living in Port St Lucie. This area is very quiet and peaceful. We have pretty decent public schools. I most enjoy the charter schools. Port St Lucie is a great family friendly place to live. We don't have many crimes that are reported and for the most part pretty friendly neighbors. This area is also very affordable with minimum night life. If your looking for a quiet and friendly environment to raise your children, then Port St Lucie is the place for you!
I grew up here and there's definitely a lot to do around here. Lots of fun restaurants, botanical gardens, nature trails, escape rooms, trampoline parks, arcades, movie theaters, it's hard to get bored around here!
I like how they they try to keep PSL nice and clean, there is not really much to do but there are a lot of jobs that people can go for, mainly in the medical field.
Port St. Lucie is a very safe, accepting community. It has never made me fear for my safety or be concerned with the overall cost of living. The city has a very beautiful natural scenery all around no matter where you go. The city itself puts effort into accentuating the surrounding environment's breath taking views through various projects. The city has a very welcoming, calm ambience. Something I would like to see changed is the city's emphasis on preserving some of its wildlife. While there is some emphasis on it, more attention and care can be placed on it. Recent years have seen the migration of some native animals such as peacocks that had inhabited my neighborhood in the past. All in all, Port St. Lucie is a safe, welcoming, clean city that any visitor and resident is sure to enjoy.
Port St. Lucie is a safe city. The neighborhood is nice and clean and the neighbors are nice as well. There are many stores to shop from.
While the Mayor of this town isn't necessarily the best, this city was a great one to move to after living in the bustling suburbs of Orlando. It's big while staying quiet and having plenty of things to do. The schools are nice and while we aren't the best at sports, the extracurriculars are very good in all the schools. The shopping centers are good and there are opportunities for both the young and the elderly, as well as everyone in between.
Good area for housing and education. They have a university nearby. Several decent restaurants to dine in.
Port St Lucie is a nice place to raise your children and relax on vacation. With West Palm Beach just 45 minutes south and an hour and a half to Orlando.
Its likably rough and quiet area. It's a polished, visually lush and very likeable. There's not much entertainment but great retirement place to area to live.
Port Saint Lucie is a relatively decent sized town. There are many areas under development to make the city larger and more accommodating. There is not much too do as far as events for late 20s+ crowd. The city is a great retirement area.
Port St Lucie is a good place to live. They have good transportation systems that are very reliable. The rent is very high in this area, but it does seem safe for the most part. Getting around Port St Lucie is pretty easy even when you don't have a car. There are a lot of things to do in this city.
Port St. Lucie has absolutely zero culture. It’s not even a city it’s just a collection of strip malls and sub-divisions. The restaurant scene completely sucks outside of Pueblo Viejo, there is a sea of retail but nowhere to buy anything but crap and the job market will have you contemplating offering your services to as Mexican drug cartel as easily less than 10% of jobs will furnish a living wage. But easily the worst thing about it is the people. To live here is to swim constantly in a sea of the most entitled, immature, obnoxious, racist, relentlessly awful Baby-boomer sacks of s—t you can imagine. If you think I’m exaggerating, try City Limits. A bar just brimming with the charm and intellect PSL is famous for. The one time I visited there, the patrons were having a conversation in which they pretty much unanimously agreed that Dwyane Wade should be lynched because he had a grand child.
That’s who the hell you are Port St. Lucie.
That’s who the hell you are Port St. Lucie.
Great place to live close to major cities yet has a small town feel. Lots of fun outdoor adventure, close to beaches and beautiful scenery.
Beautiful area that is growing and housing market is booming. Nice neighborhoods. Nice parks for kids. And beautiful beaches.
It's a developing city that it quiet but trying to expand on it's commercial goods. So while it looks small and quiet at first, places like the mall and many food places are open for people of all ages. It also has a lot of nice and clean parks to walk around as well as an eco center.
Port St. Lucie is a rather small, yet growing community. I have lived here for most of my life and have seen many changes. There's a lot of art communities and activities to do for those who have families and children. It's an extremely peaceful city with kind people.
Port Saint Lucie is rapidly expending compared to when I first moved down here 7 years ago. It’s striving to become such a nice, affordable town. Port Saint Lucie does lack a certain amount of entertainment because theirs a lot of elderly people it’s home too. However, with the right group of friends, family or acquaintances, you can make the best out of it. As for myself, I’ve been blessed with so much positive and adventurous friends, so we’re always doing a cookout/barbecue, game nights, movie night, dining and trying to find outdoor activities to partake in. Overall my experience in Port Saint Lucie has been nothing but amazing, boring sometimes but we make the best of it and enjoy it as much as possible.
