Growing up in Port Hueneme I would say that one of its most unique features is the local naval base. This base houses multiple residents, some of whom I have become great friends with and the necessities for the navy troops who are waiting on standby. Although the base is one of the more popular sites in Port Hueneme, there is also the local beach where many fishermen and locals gather to cherish in the commodities of the pier and the sea. But, these attractions are not exactly the heart and soul of Port Hueneme, for that title is given to the local people of the area. In Port Hueneme, many people are working day and night to ensure the prosperity and safety of the suburb, by innovating and creating through their respective businesses and by the local communities organizing events such as festivals and fundraisers. These areas and the people are the reason as to why I continue living in Port Hueneme.

What an undiscovered coastal gem! This is a beautiful laid back beach community with tremendous potential re beach view real estate. Who wouldn't want to live here - accessible to PCH, Malibu, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. Plenty of shops nearby and a beautiful beach.
A very nice small town feel that's right on the beach with many activities - surfing, kayaking, whale watching, scuba diving, and hiking. Channel Islands are 11 miles by Island Packers ships with with so many sights to see: whales, flying fish, dolphin, and the beautiful Chanel Islands.
Channel Islands Harbor has great food, entertainment, jet ski rentals, stand-up paddle board rentals, and a Marine museum.
My commute to work is 7 miles and there's plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
Weather here is absolutely amazing - 60- 75 degrees all year round.
Close to L.A. but none of the craziness :)
Visit Ojai, Santa Barbara and Ventura - minutes away.
