What I like about Port Allen? Port Allen is a very friendly and nice city to live. All the the residents know each other ,so you always feel like family. Everybody is willing to help their neighbors in need especially when their is national disaster. Their is always good fun and plenty of fun activities for all ages. The holidays are the most memorable Christmas 🎄 display of the lights, pictures with Santa , and hot chocalate. Easter their is always an Easter egg hunt at the community center for the kids, Fourth of July their is always fireworks and live music for all ages. So , if you are looking for some good food and southern style friendliness the next time you pass through the city of Port Allen stop and be treated like you are family .
It's a quiet place to live in. It's very open and a lot of people out of Louisiana tend to pass through. But the fact that not many people live in Port Allen, excludes many sources, events, etc.
