I’ve been living in Pontiac, MI for 17 years. I was born and raised in Pontiac. Over the years Pontiac has grow as a community and its going in the positive direction with the community coming together for events, corporations moving to Pontiac and the nightlife scenery starting to grow. The overall aspect of Pontiac is great. The city is improving day by day and its all for the better! Pontiac is definitely a smaller highlight of Michigan but it’s a good one. I love being from Pontiac!

My local area in Pontiac Michigan is a very substandard city especially since the economy in the area is poor. The schools and education could use some upgrades in their curriculum since the majority of students in the school are below average in subjects or don't have enough resources to achieve high education. However, Pontiac has amazing little business in the food industry in ethnic specialty foods in the local area.
People tend to stick to themselves, the roads aren't the best. I'ts a very diverse city with a lot of small places to eat. There is always traffic on Walton and Joslyn as people are going home. In the winter the streets don't get cleaned or salted too often. Downtown pontiac is growing. Smaller shops owned by locals are opening and keeping Downtown active. The Biggest attraction has to be Erabus during the Halloween season.
