Ponder is a nice small town full of people who know one another. My experience in Ponder Highschool was that of any highschool: stressful. However the teachers, students, and the courses have been good and taught me well. The amount of establishments isn’t large, but we are growing!

Ponder is a small, quiet town in North Texas. The town exudes small town friendships and a willingness to help one another! The schools, teachers and coaches truly care about their students and helping them succeed! Ponder is the place to be!
I love living in a small town that is not too far from a large city. It's great to have that small town feel, with friendly neighbors, a small school where I know everyone and local businesses, not all chains. I also appreciate the large city nearby, that has all the fun and cultural places to go do and see. Movie theaters, museums, the zoo, etc. are only 10 to 50 miles away (in Texas, that's not far).
