Polk City is an excellent place to live because it is a close knit community with various locally owned restaurants, stores, and other businesses. There are various community events to participate in and great amenities such as parks and libraries. I have grown up in this community and have been influenced greatly by its compassion towards its members and endless opportunities for "small" people to make a difference.
I recently moved to Polk City from Florida. Polk City is known as the city "For All Seasons," and it's displayed that much since I was welcomed to the area. Genuine connections, a happy and thriving community, Polk City offers something like I've never been exposed to before. I would recommend this as a serene diversion from a fast life. Not to mention they have some of the most pristine schools in the country for Agriculture.
Polk City is a very family friendly small town in which I have lived here for 11 years. A person can leave their house or car unlocked, or leave their car running while at the grocery stuff and nothing will happen. There are a lot of small businesses around time that thrive off of the growing community.
