Point Pleasant Beach has been my home for almost 4 years. It is a safe, fun beautiful town. During the winter, it can be compared to a grey and barren wasteland that makes my seasonal affective disorder act up. During the summer, though, the boardwalk is chock-full of people of various walks of life, the arcades are alight with colors and the smell of strategically overpriced pizza fills my nostrils. It makes me feel at home. But Beach High School is the LEAST diverse I've ever attended. It is a stark comparison to my middle school in Ventnor, where there was no overwhelming minority or majority and children of all races played together. I can't wait to go to college and have things be how they were when I grew up in a diverse environment.

Point Pleasant Beach is a great town to live in and even visit. The summer is packed with visitors from around tri-state area. The locals love the town as well, with plenty of things to do such as going to the boardwalk, the nearby malls and stores, restaurants, etc.
I love where I live. Though Super Storm Sandy destroyed a lot and we are still rebuilding, I live y small town. Being only a mile by a mile, everyone in the town knows everyone. The beach is my favorite place to go on the off seasons because it's much more serine than in the summer and you get to enjoy the sights and smells that are naturally there, like smelling the seaweed and hearing the gulls along with the waves.
