Currently Poinciana is undergoing many changes and all for the best. In the next few weeks we will have a Wawa gas station, finally! On Marigold towards Village 7 a Marathon which is finally a smart choice for the people that live down that way since there were no gas stations in that area for miles. There are a few new restaurants and construction on new houses are everywhere. Traffic is fairly bad during rush hour and Saturdays. There is now several ways to get out of Poinciana as before it was only one. This is a great place to live because of all the growth occurring and travel isn’t terrible anymore. I’m glad I’ve been here over three years now and it keeps getting better, definitely looking forward to what else will improve.

Poinciana is a suburban area that has absolutely nothing to do, except maybe go to Walmart. It's an area where a lot of teenagers get into trouble because there is literally nothing to do. They're renovating and building to add value to the area and bring up real estate prices. Speaking of which, real estate in this town is extremely affordable right now. You can purchase a lot of land at a 'below-average' rate. However, the traffic in Poinciana is absolutely ridiculous and people don't know what a signal light is, so there are car accidents every single day in this town. If I could get out of here today, without question, I would.
Poinciana is a very minority filled people. Mostly Hispanic people. Traffic is really bad but every time there is an event, people attend. They have an annual fair and Caribbean and Spanish festivals. Low-income families. The area is coming up though with a lot of construction taking place.
