I loved its atmosphere, very welcoming for a family. Great to experience all the seasons and the best suburbia has to offer.
There's not much in the actual town itself but apartment buildings and chain stores. It's a solidly okay place to live, but it's nothing worth writing home about.
Plymouth is wonderful because everything is so close. Within a five mile radius there are restaurants grocery stores, community centers, gyms, libraries, you name it. I am so lucky to have grown up there because of all the great opportunities it has presented. I want to live here when I buy my first house but unfortunately the area is rather expensive. That is to be expected though with the high quality land and accessibility it affords. Plymouth is also only a 20 minute drive from the cities which is another fantastic perk.
I love Plymouth. A great place to raise your kids, beautiful in the summer. It's got great food places around, great facilities, good roads, nice neighborhoods. Suburban dream.
There are great schools in Plymouth. For the most part it is safe; the most common type of crime seems to be break-ins. It is not very diverse, and there are not many low-income housing options.
I like the amenities in Plymouth and the fact that I can get anything I need for within a mile or two of where I live. I don’t love how divided the city it though. The people in this area are very quick to see the ways you are not like them.
I love that there is a lot of stuff to do outdoors, I feel safe, and it is a generally clean city! It is also usually pretty quiet which I appreciate
We have been Plymouth residents since 1980. Until recently, I would have given Plymouth a five-star rating, but current City Council has sold out to developers. Developer is putting 229 homes on a golf course that was land-locked by homes already and that currently has only one access for all construction trucks, etc. through a residential area. Council turned it down the first time then owner and developer sued the City, saying that IF there was another vote in their favor, they would drop the lawsuit. Unbelievably poor planning on the Council's part to allow it to get to this point, especially when a $50 million renovation to indoor space was recently passed without a referendum. The destruction of this particular green space is something we that will disrupt lives in this area for decades.
Is crowding and stress on infrastructure inevitable? Is it too much to expect our local government to maintain a QUALITY of life for current residents? We are moving after 40 years.

Great City to live in and great City to work in. We’ll run, safe, and lots of green space to enjoy. Great schools.
Currently destroying and slaughtering over 1,000 mature, beautiful trees! Over development, over crowded schools, dangerous roads, traffic problems, destroyed last public golf golf, neighbors land locked in their neighborhoods. Current major and city council have destroyed everything that once made Plymouth a special place to live!!
Moved here 6 months ago, good city. Schools are good and lots of restaurants and things to do. People are nice and smart Covid procedures
Plymouth is a very safe area with very agreeable people and a good amount of shopping and dining. As a teenager living here there was challenges in finding fun things to do.
I enjoy living in Plymouth. It is a nice quiet community and many people keep to themselves. I work at a local Ice Cream store. The community and customers have been very support of us during covid. This has help us stay open and growing! I enjoying being about to go out in the city with my friends.
Great place to live, very safe, but relatively quite and lacks diversity. I grew up here, and I have mostly positive feelings about Plymouth.
I moved to Plymouth when I was 3. Plymouth is a great town to either start a family in or retire in. There are many great sit down restaurants wether you want something casual or fancy. There are many great fast food chains and also lots of grocery stores. Wayzata public schools is what takes over the majority of Plymouth as far as public education goes, but there are still multiple private religious or non religious schools.
Plymouth is a wonderful place to live as it provides a safe environment with lots of opportunities for its residents.
Plymouth is a new community that has grown exponentially over the past few years. It has a vast amount of suburb housing within the Wayzata school district, one of the best in the state. It has lovely playgrounds and parks that are all very well maintained. The one limiting factor is the lack of restaurants and retail stores which are relatively few.
