Plattsburgh Ny is a smaller city that has a lot to offer to the people that live there. The food options are never ending, as Plattsburgh has many sit down restaurants, small diners and plenty of fast food options to choose from. There are many things to do in Plattsburgh as well. Not only is there a mall, but there are also numerous small shops, thrift stores, movie theaters, bowling alleys, and beaches. It is a city where you feel safe when going outside to take a walk or even a run. The community is really nice, the people there are all really respectful and friendly. I chose to live in Plattsburgh while attending college and it is such a great area to be located in.

This is a small town that has nice neighborhoods, a historic location close to Canada, and has nice small driving distances between stores and many jobs. There is also a university right inside of it. If you are looking to live here, and you can get a good job, then it should be a great experience. But, employment is definitely something to consider and this town is just not super large. There is a hospital and some businesses, but if you are in the STEM field then it could make sense to move to a larger city. The place itself is very pretty and you would experience all 4 seasons. It is definitely reasonable to raise a family here, as many do, though some will point out the crime and weather as being less than optimal.
Plattsburgh is a very great Place to grow up, its very safe and has great schools. However, its an area with a severe lack of diversity and lac k of things to do. Its safety and small town community makes it a fantastic place to spend my childhood!
