Platteville is a very small town with few stores. It is a friendly town with a moderate drive to the surrounding cities. However, a lot can change in Platteville. I believe that the schooling could be better, as well as the school buildings (Although they are doing construction on the schools to improve them). They could also keep up on road maintenance. Few of our roads have been repaved recently. The lighting in the town can also be better. My current neighborhood has very few streetlights, which makes the roads very dark at night.
Platteville is a very welcoming town. It’s a very small town, but it’s right in the beginning of highway 66 and highway 85. The elementary and middle school in Platteville are very small, and very lovely to attend. The best places to stop and eat are Subway, Double Tree, and the Cracked Egg, all located in downtown Platteville. The neighborhoods are very friendly and neighborly. Rodgers Farm even offers a playground for the fellow children to play at in the neighborhood, including an outdoor basketball court. A very nice and clean town, very worthy of living in.
Small Home-Town feeling, not a lot to do, but its the best of the country life in the city. Not really anywhere good to eat, schools are so-so, but we all seem to have turned out just fine.
